We have been gathering many experiences for removal works of obstacles.

In order to re-use the land with existing structures, the demand to remove existing structures and foundation piles in advance is increased around urban areas. This is to prevent the interference with earth retaining by existing foundation piles when a new structure is constructed. Popular methods for removal works of obstacles : ① Auger Casing Method ② Vibro-Hammer Method ③ Casing Rotation Method, but ingenious ideas will be required such as utilizing a special equipment (MPD) depend on site conditions with area restriction or limited headroom.

① Auger Casing Method

This method is to remove existing foundation pile after excavating around it with auger casing which is installed on the leader of crawler crane base machine.

② Vibro-Hammer Method

This method is to remove existing pile by pulling up it with hydraulic chuck of vibro-hammer which is suspended by crawler crane to reduce pile shaft friction against peripheral ground by giving the vibration.

③ Casing Rotation Method

This method is to remove by demolishing existing pile by hammer grab after installing the casings by rotating them with large torque.
