The contamination of soil and ground water is placed as one of seven environmental pollutions which is harmful to the human health or the ecosystem by the toxic substances such as heavy metals created under processing in the factory or refinery, VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) being used for cleaning the semiconductor or metal based products and alkyl phosophate contained in the pesticide. In recent years, by the enforcement of Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act in 2003 and the amendment of this Act in 2010, the demand of Environmental Investigation for Soil and ground water for real estate such as residential lot, farm land and used place as factory is increased. Environmental Investigation for Soil

Environmental investigation is to collect the sample by drilling into invisible ground and is conducted by evaluating the diffused range of contaminated formation, identification of type of toxic substance and proper method of decontamination.

Small capacity drill (EP-10LH)　Low head rotary and vibration

EP-10LH is a small size low head type vibratory rotary drill being designed and manufactured based on the requirement from our customers. This drill has an innovative drilling system giving the rotation and vibration to drill bit and is a popular model offering remarkable improvement of drilling efficiency compared with hydraulic percussion drill as well as considering the neighboring environment due to its low noise creation. This drill is capable of high speed sampling to collect undisturbed samples without the use of circulation fluid, furthermore, can conduct the sampling and drilling of monitoring well at same time by means of dual tube method. EP-10LH has the lowest height of 2.3 m during operation and is suitable for indoor operation.

Small capacity drill (EP-15LH)　Low headrotary and vibratory

Based on the requirement from our customer, "EP-15LH" is designed and manufactured as a next generation model of "EP-10LH". "EP-15LH" is a compact and low head vibratory-rotary drill which can drill by giving rotation and vibration to drill bit as well as "EP-10LH ". "EP-15LH" drill actualizes the reduction of drilling time by increasing its vibration force more than 3 times compared with "EP-10LH". Furthermore, by installing optional water swivel, this drill enables to have wider drilling applications such as water well, underground geothermal hole, etc.

EP-26N drill is a medium type vibration and rotary drill by giving minor changes on existing EP-26 drill based on customer's request. Even though mechanical features of EP-26N drill are same as those of EP-26 drill, EP-26N drill has better noise-reduction by changing the structure aiming at higher durability and improved maintenance procedure.

Environmental investigation for ground water contamination is to identify type of toxic substance being diffused by ground water flow which is permeated deeply in the ground without being caught in the soil, or evaluate the diffused range of ground water by constructing monitoring well.
